New Site Features
|
Two new features have appeared on the site recently. Firstly, a site search engine has been added to the home page. You can use this to search the entire site including the Linotype Forum. The index the search engine uses is updated once a week on a Friday. You can also access a site map from the search results page.
I have also added two new news categories to the Publishing News section.
Publishing News and Late Breaking (general) News have been added to the existing Newspaper Publishing, Book Publishing, Journalism and Site news categories. News has also been re-introduced to the front page.
If you have not checked out the Publishing News section recently take a look, there is a link to the right.

Work has already started on this new section. If you have any photographs you want to be included on the site please get in touch. The sort of thing I had in mind was pictures of unusual machines, last day of hot metal production, etc. Also please keep your stories coming in for the Your Stories section . . . I know there's more out there!
